WOMAN AS A LANDSCAPE”
Woman as a Landscape celebrates an Haute Couture style that discloses his beauty in the Roman urban scenery, where tradition and modernity coexist.
Ferrè textile designs inspired by De Kooning work and produced for Dior Haure Couture in 1990, have been used to make the garments.
The result came out as three wearable work of art in a limited edition, characterized by the use of triple silk organza and the floral theme as a leit motive to show a landscape where the Woman is the one and only protagonist.
Together with the collection there will be an exibition of collages that were part of the artistic path leading to the collection, narrating the modernity of our millennium through the filigree of memory.
The opening will take place at the jewelery boutique Iosseliani on july 7 2011, in Via del Pigneto 39.
Entrance by invite.
The exibition will be open to public on july 8-9-10 from 6pm to midnight.

Woman as a Landscape celebra la cifra di stile di un’Alta Moda che apre il suo sipario su uno scenario prettamente metropolitano in cui convivono tradizione e modernità.
I capi che compongono la collezione sono realizzati con i tessuti ideati da Ferre' per Dior Haute Couture nel 1990 e ispirati all'opera di De Kooning.
Il risultato si compone di tre pezzi in edizione limitata, eseguiti con una tripla organza di seta, in cui viene declinato il tema floreale, che si schiude agli scenari di un panorama in cui la Donna è protagonista.
Oltre alla collezione, verranno esposti i collage che compongono quella ricerca stilistica, capace di narrare, attraverso le filigrane della memoria,l’immagine degli alfabeti della modernità del nuovo millennio.
L'opening si terrà il prossimo 7 luglio 2011 alle 5 pm nella boutique capitolina di Iosselliani di Via del Pigneto 39, con ingresso su invito.
