Missoni+Target

"Italian luxury brand Missoni has announced a partnership with the U.S. retailer Target, to introduce a fashionable range of women’s, men’s, girls and babywear at mass market friendly price points.


The collection will also cross into homeware including bedding and dinnerware, all in Missoni’s inimitable and often kaleidoscopic range of patterns, colors and abstract florals. The prices will range from $2.99 to $599.99, with most items less than $40.









“Our collection for Target embodies Missoni’s values of family, color and quality,” comments creative director Angela Missoni, and daughter of founders Ottavio and Rosita Missoni. “It has been a fantastic experience translating our aesthetic into an affordable line, one we are eager to share with families across the United States.” Offering more the 400 products, the family-oriented collection will be available at all of Target’s 1,755 stores, as well as the retailer’s website. Target’s previous collaborations with luxury designers include Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier. Kathee Tesija, executive vice president of merchandising, believes that the Missoni collection “will have guests lining up outside their local Target in anticipation.” Missoni for Target will be available for a limited time from Sep 13 through Oct 22, 2011"
